Evony
Evony is a medieval strategy based browser MMO. This game used very outrageous tactics for getting famous. Populate your own city, advance your buildings, manage taxes, but keep your citizens satisfied. To expand your empire you first must generate lots of resources, mostly through buildings and by attacking nearby empires. Different military units available. Main resources are iron, food, stone and lumber aka wood. Join alliances or create your own. Premium users will dominate free users by far.

this game company has sued so many other companies in court, forced them to pretty much close their games, and after their websites go defunct, i noticed a good chunk of them or all of them got taken over, then their sites lead to chinese p*rn looking sites, so maybe evony had a hand in that underground since they got so much money now to stomp out their completion or evony clone, i guess.
i remember some games were forced to close or disappeared due to ddos, who knows...
i guess they made tons of money off WoW gold farms/accounts/items too lol. u be the judge /shrug
Kind of an overrated game but it paved the way for many others, it deserves credit for that.
