A very enjoyable game that has many different levels of activity that can be played. It isn't just a game, it's a word-wide community. Many of us talk with people all over the world each day (and night). Not a first-person shooter, it is a build your account game and does require someone with that type of mindset.
If you are reading this, you probably have that mindset and need to come see what it is all about.
Another game insisting on you join a clan, alliance, etc. Some of us like solo play - at least at the beginning.
Great game and even greater community. I've played since 2006 and the thrill of making a successful building run has not diminished.
on the surface this is a very simple game. you get gold and a single attack point each 30 minutes. you save up the gold to increase your army but you need expensive buildings to not only house your troops but armouries a stables etc all meaning you need ever increasing amounts of gold. the more gold you hold the bigger the target you put on your back but the wolves are circling. dare you take the risk?
Another factor is the clan(team) system on which the game operates. You must join or create a clan and come together with people from all walks of life and from all over the world in order to war and fight for ranking. The winning clan must pass a certain amount of "power" to win one of the most difficult competitions in the online gaming world. The nearer to the finishing post a clan gets the more enemies they attract who will do everything to stop them. Imagine trying to get 20-30 people from many different timezones working together and you'll get an idea of how hard it is to win.
The world wide community the Lords of Legend attracts are as diverse as you can get with no age restrictions you'd find elswhere. A UK teenager could clan together with a senior citizen from Ukraine, a oil field engineer could clan with a medical student but no-one would know as we all hide behind our character names.
The community forum is moderated by a dedicated team and has always held a PG rating which means it holds to high standards of behaviour. There the world community come together sharing many aspects of their lives and interests with fellow players. I can state with absolute honesty you will never meet a community of people like the ones you will in this game.
Great game, great community and great people.
Been with this game and the forum for 9+ years. Love the game the people and love the family feel. For children and adults alike. And yes as it has been said before...Addictive.
A great simple game, made even greater by the community! Been playing for over 10 years and although the game remains the same, no round is ever the same! Which is what separates this game from so many others. Patience and activity in the beginning will be rewarded later on as your clan battles to win the round in a set power goal. Win the round and your clan is immortalized in the Clans of Fame. What seems like a simple turn based game is in all actuality a very intense and adrenaline pumped push to the end to cross the power goal and maintain it while other clans mass your clan to keep you from the title. So in a nutshell you have: War,clans, individual goals, scheming,Politics(alot of them), back door dealing, and a game that gives you a end goal for a win, and starts over fresh with the same strategy. Highly addictive!
Very nice game, awesome community, really friendly. Definitely one to keep my attention.
Great game, very addictive, easy and fun to play,
This game has a great community, spirited clan wars, and some fun economic strategy options. It does take activity to have a top account but the clan aspect can make it fun at any level.
Great game! I played it since 2005. Tried and tested to be fun and exciting.
This game is a great one - I'm so glad that I found it 10 years ago and that I'm able to keep playing. There's definitely no other game I'd rather be playing. It does take some frequent attention, but you can easily keep an account on track without spending too much time. Clans give you a chance to help each other, and add a great team element that makes the game that much more enjoyable. Great supportive group of players, and a fun little game :)
Lords of Legend is a great old school texted based game. It is also a clan based war game, so you will join a clan and make new friends. It takes some patience in the beginning but well makes up for that towards the middle and end round. The rounds are generally 2=3 months long. The great thing about this game is its not only the game that makes it so addicting but also the community of players.
Great game! Takes a bit of activity and patience, but there is plenty of help from veteran players, and the forum provides a great escape from the warfare. Like life, it takes time to build your army and to grow your account--but the fun is well worth the patience! Be careful though....this game can be addicting!
