The Lone Detective
(Online since 2017)The Lone Detective is a human moderated puzzle / detective game, in which you are put in charge of solving a crime. Most of the cases are "cold cases", which means you have all the data available and all you have to do is find the detail that will point at the culprit.
There are two ways to play the game - you can get through all the evidence and read all the materials (which is the long way) or start with a theory and check only the details that will confirm or sink your theory (which is the shorter way). Just like in real investigations you hunt the clues in the evidence available, but there are no hints or sidekicks - if you think you have evidence submit it to Game Master and he will review if you were right.

This is the closest, free, full-fledged (well, almost) CSI-style single-player game that could be found on the net in this day and age, which is a rare find. It was fun wracking my brains over several days. Having an active gamemaster responding is unique and makes it more interesting as well.
